Honorable Revelo presented the endorsed Board Resolution No. 01-03, series of 2026, from the Pagadian–Zamboanga del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Incorporated (PZCCIFI), entitled: “A Board Resolution respectfully requesting the Local Government Unit of Pagadian City to Grant an Extension of the Deadline for Business Permit Processing and Payment of Fees for Calendar Year 2026 until March 31, 2026. Following a brief deliberation, her subsequent motion and duly seconded led to the approval of the request through the passage of Resolution No. 2026-0225, approving the extension of the deadline for the renewal of local business permits from January 21, 2026 to March 31, 2026 and, for the purpose, shall condone such penalties and other charges that will be incurred due to the delayed or late payment thereof.
Discussion, interpellation, privilege or manifestation carries no legal effect by itself.

At this point, the body approved the motion for reconsideration made by Honorable Culve as it allows him to present Committee Report No. 091 from the Committee on Transportation, Road Traffic Management and Franchising, for Referral No. 15cc-0163. Following a brief recess to allow the Council Members discuss the matter informally, the body, after approving the amendment of the recommendation of the concerned Committee, resolved to approve on First Reading Draft Ordinance No. 029, entitled: “An Ordinance approving the temporary road closure of portion of Dablo Street from corner Gov. Vicente Cerilles Street (formerly Alano Street) and Macaumbang Street every 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon up to 12:00 midnight from February 15, 2026 up to March 21, 2026, in connection with the celebration of the 1st PAgaDIYAN Ramadan Food Festival and 4th Summit International Qur’an Reading with Islamic Symposium in observance of the 2026 Ramadan,” and for its consideration on Second Reading through the passage of Resolution No. 2026-0226.

The body noted the information provided by the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod, in response to the query of Honorable Obaob, that letter-invitation for the presence and attendance of the members of the Board of Directors of the Pagadian City Water District had already been forwarded to their office as well as the approved resolution of the body which requested for copies of the 2nd Performance Evaluation on the PAMANA, but no response yet had been received by the Office of the Secretary to the Sanggunian. He further informed the body that an instruction had already been given to the office staff to make a follow up on that particular matter.
